Whale Watching

They are available during the annual migrations of a number of species of whales. The best time for this is January through March. The whales make a 6,000 mile long migration from Alaska and Siberia to the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez. They can be seen spouting off from shore, but the best way to really experience this is to take a whale watching tour. Your hotel should be able to schedule this for you.
